Dear Sir,

As I understand you are shortly about to receive

a deputation from the anti-opius Societies, I as

instructed by Rev. F. B. keyér to ask or. axwell 7

Chairman of the Anti-cpiu Board, to hand to you at

that interviez a list of the Resolations, of which we

have up to the present received notification, passed

in response to the United Christian /ppeal. The

originals of these Resolutions have, it is hoped,

already been tranenitted direct, as requested, to the

Secretaries of state for Foreign Affairs, for India,

and for the Coloniso.

in submitting to you this list, may I draw your

attention to their representative character, greatly

enhancing their numerical value, single Resolutions

representing an many instances mumerous congregations

and covering wide areas?

May I further venture, in my private capacity and

solely upon my own responsibility, to lay before yourself and your colleagues certain possibilities as worthy of
